Privacy Policy for Nurturly

Last Updated: June 21, 2026

Nurturly (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your child. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application (the “App”).

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information

  • Account Data: When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, and a unique identifier provided by Google. This is used solely to manage your account and map your subscriptions.
  • Child’s Profile: We collect information you provide about your child, such as their name, date of birth, and gender. This information is stored locally on your device.

Non-Personal Information

  • Usage Data: We may collect basic information about how you interact with the App (e.g., features used) to improve our services.
  • AI Interactions: Questions you ask our AI assistant are processed to provide responses but are not linked to your personal identity on our backend.

2. How Your Data is Stored (Local-First Policy)

We believe your family’s data belongs to you.

  • Local Storage: All child profiles, milestone logs, tracker entries, and bedtime stories are stored on your mobile device. We do not upload your child’s sensitive developmental data or daily logs to our servers.
  • Security: Because data is stored locally, it is protected by your device’s security features (passcode, biometric lock, etc.).

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party providers to power specific App features:

  • Google Sign-In: To manage your account authentication.
  • Google Play Billing: To process subscriptions and donations securely. We do not see or store your credit card information.
  • Gemini AI (Google): To provide AI parenting guidance and generate stories. Your inputs are sent to Google’s Gemini API for processing but do not include your personal account identity.

4. Children’s Privacy

Nurturly is designed for use by parents and legal guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13. While the App allows you to input data about your child, this data is managed by you and remains on your device.

5. Permissions Used

The App requires the following permissions:

  • Internet: To process AI requests and verify subscription status.
  • Notifications: To send reminders for milestones and vaccinations (if enabled by you).
  • Billing: To allow for Pro upgrades and donations through Google Play.

6. Data Deletion

Since your data is stored locally, deleting the App will remove all data stored within it. If you wish to delete your account mapping, please contact us at the email address below.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App.
