- Health Conditions: If you choose to use our specialized Pro features, you may optionally provide information regarding medical conditions like Diabetes, PCOS, or Thyroid issues so the AI can generate appropriate meals.
B. Media and Content Data
- Food Photos: When you use our Food Photo Scan feature, the app accesses your device’s camera or gallery to upload images of your meals for AI calorie estimation.
- Chat Logs: We collect the text messages, prompts, and queries you send to our AI Nutritionist assistant.
C. Automatically Collected Data
- App Usage & Progress Metrics: We track your app interactions, calorie/macro logs, water intake, weight logs, and daily streaks to populate your dashboard and build progress reports.
- Device Information: We may collect basic device data (such as your mobile device ID, model, operating system version, and performance logs) to assist with debugging and app maintenance.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to power your personalized AI nutrition experience, specifically to:
- Generate tailored 1-day or 7-day meal plans and automated Indian/global recipes.
- Process meal photos using AI to estimate portion sizes and caloric values.
- Respond dynamically to your dietary queries inside the AI Nutritionist chat.
- Compile weekly summary metrics into exportable PDF nutrition reports.
- Manage your app subscription status (Free vs. Pro tiers) via Google Play Billing.
- Improve our application’s design, usability, and AI accuracy.
3. How Data is Shared and Processed (AI Integrations)
AI Processing (Google Gemini API)
NutriAi is fully AI chat and scan-based. To provide core functionalities (meal plans, photo scanning, chat responses, and weekly insights), your inputted text prompts, profile metrics, and food photos are securely transmitted to the Google Gemini API for real-time processing. This data is processed safely in accordance with enterprise AI security standards and is not used to publicly train baseline models.
Third-Party Service Providers
We do not sell your personal health or profile data. We only share information with third parties that perform services necessary for the app to function:
- Google Play Billing: Handles all secure financial transactions for Pro memberships. We do not store your credit card or banking details on our servers.
- Authentication Providers: Google Sign-In securely manages your account authentication if selected.
4. Data Retention and Security
- Security: We implement a variety of industry-standard security measures to maintain the safety of your personal data when you log in, submit a photo, or enter physical metrics.
- Retention: We retain your profile and progress history for as long as your account is active to maintain your historical calorie rings, weight charts, and streaks.

NutriAi is designed for general audiences and weight-conscious individuals, primarily targeting users between the ages of 20–45. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13.
